In this book, Kendra is kidnapped by the society, and replaced by a stingbulb, a fruit that pricks someone, and takes their shape, and memories. Seth actually helps by breaking the rules, something he's known for doing. When Kendra manages to escape, she returns to Fablehaven, where Seth has returned, thinking his sister was dead. The knights of the dawn rush to the dragon sanctuary, Wyrmroost. This book has more romance between Kendra and Gavin, but again, nothing serious. Although the ending is depressing, it leaves you wanting more, because the last line is the kind of thing you don't end a book with. There's a lot of action in these books, which I actually found boring, but too important to just skip. again, i found this book to be worth my time, and it's worth yours, too.
